Questions worth understanding before you act
The answers below explain concepts and verification methods. They do not ask you to submit secrets or rely on unverifiable claims.
A digital wallet typically manages keys and helps you view addresses, assets and on-chain transactions. The assets themselves are recorded on the relevant blockchain rather than stored as a balance inside a webpage.
A seed phrase can usually derive a set of wallet keys, while a private key directly controls a corresponding address. Both are highly sensitive and should never be sent through chat, forms or screenshots.
The same asset name may exist on multiple networks, and the recipient must support the network you choose. Checking the address without checking the network can still result in a serious transfer mistake.
Gas is the fee mechanism used to execute transactions or contract calls on a blockchain. The actual cost depends on network rules, transaction complexity and congestion.
A transaction hash is a unique identifier that lets you inspect status, block height, confirmation count and related addresses in a block explorer.
An account connection by itself usually does not transfer assets, but later signatures, approvals or transactions can create permissions or move value. Review every request separately.
No. A message signature may prove control of an account, while a transaction signature generally authorizes an on-chain action. Both should be reviewed in context.
Some approvals remain active until their allowance is used, revoked or changed by contract logic. Permissions you no longer need should be considered for removal.
An EVM network is generally compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine execution model. Compatibility does not make networks identical, so gas assets, explorers and parameters still need separate verification.
Layer 2 systems scale activity above a base chain and use specific mechanisms to settle or prove state. Cross-layer transfers may involve bridge steps and waiting periods.
Cloud sync, screenshots and online documents can expose a seed phrase if an account or device is compromised remotely. Offline storage reduces that attack surface.
Do not send a seed phrase, private key, verification code or remote-control access. Stop the interaction and independently return to an official entry point you trust.
No. Rewards can change with protocol conditions, validator performance and network state, while the underlying digital asset price can also move significantly.
Proof-of-stake networks require validators to perform defined duties. Prolonged downtime or more serious protocol violations can reduce rewards and, in some cases, trigger stronger penalties.
Validator exits and withdrawals may depend on network queues, protocol state and service processes. Exit timing should not be treated as fixed or immediate.
No. Users retain responsibility for their seed phrases and private keys. imtoken personnel will not ask for them and cannot reconstruct an unknown private key on a user’s behalf.
Never send a seed phrase, private key or verification code to anyone. On-chain transactions are generally not reversible by a wallet alone.
